Australia vs England

PJ Forrest lbw b Finn 0 1 ball
Over 5.2
139.3 kph, and he’s now the old batsman. That looks plumb. Finn is keeping the ball very full, and this time he moves it back into the right-hander. Forrest prodded from his crease and was smacked flush on the back pad. He has a quick word with Watson, presumably about a review, and then marches right off. That ball was smashing into off and middle.

MS Wade† c †Kieswetter b Finn 0 1 ball
Over 32.3
142.6 kph, gone first ball again! And what a catch! Craig Kieswetter has flung himself to his right and taken a blinder on the juggle. It is a super delivery, back of length that zipped through and took an inside edge, Kieswetter took off, parried with the first attempted and then grabbed it as he fell to the ground

Australia vs Pakistan
Played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium
5 September 2012 – day/night (20-over match)

BW Hilfenhaus c †Kamran Akmal b Sohail Tanvir 0 1 ball
Over 19.3
Sharp, sharp take from Kamran, give the man some credit for this, I say, Tanvir spearing it in full from wide of the crease, and round the stumps, Kamran is moving down the leg side alright, but there is a huge deflection off a thick inside edge, the ball is dying at Kamran’s left foot, but he gets the gloves down in time, and pouches it as he tumbles down.

Australia vs Pakistan

PJ Cummins lbw b Saeed Ajmal 0
Over 18.6
97.0 kph, oh well the procession continues! The top spinner, Cummins was beaten for pace and lack of turn and was all over the place, the ball hits his pads as he tries to loft with the angle 110/7

Australia vs South Africa (3rd Test)

  • Played at Western Australia Cricket Association Ground, Perth
  • 30 November, 2012

EJM Cowan c Kallis b Steyn 0

Over 0.3

134.0 kph, there is the outside edge and Dale Steyn has needed three balls to strike, Cowan stretching right forward to defend, it is a big stretch, the angle was taking the length delivery away from him, much like what happened to Smith, old man Kallis gobbles up the low catch at second slip 3/1

Australia v Sri Lanka
Warne-Muralitharan Trophy – 3rd Test
Test no. 2070 | 2012/13 season
Played at Sydney Cricket Ground
3,4,5,6 January 2013 (5-day match)

Australian Second Innings

DA Warner c Jayawardene b Lakmal 0
Over 1.1
127.9 kph, Warner goes first ball! That was very well bowled by Lakmal, on target in the channel outside off straightaway, Warner pokes forward and he doesn’t cover the line, outside edge to Mahela at second slip 0/1

Australia v Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka in Australia ODI Series – 2nd ODI
Played at Adelaide Oval
13 January 2013 – day/night (50-over match)

KW Richardson lbw b Malinga 0
Over 39.3
115.7 kph, Oh dear, a first baller on debut, a deceptive slower one from Malinga, Richardson didn’t spot it, it died low on the batsman and Richardson missed it to be struck low on the pad, perhaps just in line with leg stump, he’s got to go 140/8

Australia v Sri Lanka
Played at Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba, Brisbane
18 January 2013 – day/night (50-over match)

GJ Bailey lbw b Kulasekara 0
Over 7.4
127.7 kph, Bailey pads up and Aus have lost two in two! Kulasekara’s inswing is really causing trouble to the right-handers, moved back in and Bailey was forward and across to shoulder arms, the ball hits his pads and he was in front of the off stump 21/4

West Indies in Australia ODI Series

Australia vs West Indies

Played at Western Australia Cricket Association Ground, Perth
3 February 2013 – day/night (50-over match)

GJ Maxwell b Sammy 0
Over 23.4
123.4 kph, Chopped on! Oh the Aussies are crumbling here.. Shot, no shot, whatever. Maxwell, who score a fifty last innings, tries to pull his bat out of the way of a length delivery outside off, he is too late though. The ball hits the inside edge and drops on to his stumps. More joy for captain Sammy 98/6

Australia vs West Indies

Played at Melbourne Cricket Ground
10 February 2013 – day/night (50-over match)

SR Watson*    b Best    0
Over 0.1

139.4 kph, and Watson goes first ball! Short outside off and gets an inside edge to the stumps 0/1

Australia vs West Indies T20

Played at Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba, Brisbane
13 February 2013 – day/night (20-over match)

BCJ Cutting            st †Thomas b Narine     0

Over 17.1

90.6 kph, all too easy for Thomas! Tossed up and he was down the track to launch it, beaten for turn too, doesn’t bother scampering back 141/8

Australia vs India

Played at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh
14 March 2013

MJ Clarke*             st †Dhoni b Jadeja         0

Over 47.6

90.2 kph, Jadeja is on a hat-trick. And he has comprehensively beaten Clarke with his last two balls. That is as comprehensive as they come. Clarke is again unsure with his forward movement, Jadeja rips across one big offbreak, which lands on off, short of his reach, and turns across the bat. Clarke has been dragged outside the crease too. And Dhoni is super quick with the stumping 139/2

Australia vs India

Played at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi
24 March 2013

MG Johnson     b Jadeja      0

Over 32.2

92.6 kph, bowled him once again, Jadeja has his fifth! And this one is a ripper. The previous one did not turn, but this one did. He tossed it up across the left-hander from round the wicket, pitching the ball outside off stump, drawing Johnson into a tentative drive. There was a gap between bat and pad and the ball spun back through it to hit middle 94/7
