Golden Ducks [2015 – 2016]

The Primary (or Golden Duck) theme has always been associated with our fundraising. Our members pay an annual subscription , however, when membership renewal notices are forwarded to them, they are also requested to pay tax deductable ‘fines’ (donations) of $5.00 per primary scored throughout the previous year by Australian players, Men and Women in Test Matches, One Day Internationals or Twenty20 matches. We update the pictures as often as a Primary occurs. Usually we’ll have two or three pictures up there. The rest can be found below.

We also ask you to follow us on TWITTER –  and see what others are saying about the Golden Ducks this season using the [hashtag] #GoldenDuck.

Back of a length outside off, a touch wider than the Clarke ball, Voges fiddles for it away from his body and the nick carries at a good catching height to Bell, who takes it reverse cup with his knees bent. What. An. Over (after the earlier What. An. Over from Johnson this morning) 76/4

MM Lanning* run out (Devine/†Priest) 0 from 1 Ball

2.2 Nielsen to Osborne, is that out? Hesitation and Lanning doesn’t look too confident. In fact, she is walking off. Yup, gone by a mile. Flat delivery on middle, worked away to midwicket. Lanning looks at her partner and hesitates for a crucial second. She decides to go on with the run but by that time, the pick up is clean and the return to the keeper is good. 2/3

Erin Osborne

Women’s World T20 – Final
Australia Women v West Indies Women

  • Played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata (neutral venue)
  • 3 April 2016 (20-over match)

EA Osborne run out (King/Dottin) 0  from 1 ball

19.5 from Dottin, pushed to midwicket for a quick run. However, the midwicket fielder is quick on it, and the throw is good too. Dottin picks up and removes the bails in a jiffy. Great fielding. 147/5
