Havenlee School, North Nowra, caters for 70 children many with significant learning and support needs. The school's motto is "Together We Achieve".
The Primary Club provided a grant worth $18,000 to install a mobile sensory unit. Four PCA members were invited to witness the unit in action.
Pictured above are John Blackmore, Terry Nicholas and Steve Ward with Principal Katrina Eyland. Katrina explained the children (many of whom are non-verbal) happily interact with the unit creating shapes, colours and images. The beauty of it being mobile is that it can be moved from one classroom to another throughout the school day.
