Each time an Australian cricketer scores a ‘primary’ in an international fixture, members are fined $10 as a tax-deductible donation to our charity trust.

Club mascot, Bernie the Golden Duck, recently recovered from delicate surgery to his eye, neck and limbs. We’re pleased to report that the surgery was 100% successful. Here he is (on the right) in recovery ward.

At the recent 2026 Baggy Green Dinner at NSW Parliament House, we presented the Sir Roden Cutler Award to three outstanding athletes with a disability.

We mourn the passing of one of the greatest allrounders in the game of cricket, Sir Garfield Sobers, a great friend and supporter of the Primary Club of Australia.

The Primary Club staged our annual golf day, for the 2nd time at the magnificent St Michael’s Golf Club at Little Bay on Wednesday 13th May 2026. Seventy-six players braved the damp conditions, and helped raise funds for our charity projects.

The Primary Club is excited to stage our first Richie Benaud Trophy tournament at Bradman Oval, Bowral, on Sunday 19th April 2026. Four T10 teams – Silver Wombats, Team Thunder, Firies and Primary Club – competed for the Trophy, with the Firies coming out on top!
