The Primary Club of Australia once again staged our corporate cricket festival at the iconic North Sydney Oval on 2nd and 3rd March 2026. Funds raised will support PCA charity projects at Wheelchair Basketball, Cerebral Palsy Alliance and Making Waves. Picture above is the winning NRMA team in the "Insurance Ashes" on Day 1. (With mascot Bernie, the Golden Duck.)
Thanks to Last Man Stands ("LMS") for excellent umpiring and live online scoring services, and to the 15 PCA volunteers who worked in shifts across the 2-day event.
At a glance
- Day 1 Teams - CGU, Chubb, NRMA and Stan - fought for the "Insuarance Ashes"
- Day 2 Teams - Breene Machine, Creation Homes, Goodman Property and WEM Civil - competed for the Marathon Cricket Corporate Cup.
- Under lights, LMS staged their Phil Buckland Cup (Sydney Summer vs Winter Champions); and their Charity Shield (Sydney East vs West Dream Teams)
- In the morning sessions, competing for the "Breakfast Plate" were Boonie's Interstaters, Team Thunder (Newcastle), NSW Firies, Old Monty's Larrikins and the Primary Club.
- Our target was to raise $35,000 for our disability sports partners.
