Alex Blackwell becomes newest Primary Club Ambassador

At the Sydney Test Breakfast on Friday 3rd January, former Australian Women’s cricket captain Alex Blackwell was inducted into the role or Primary Club Ambassador.  Alex has represented her country in over 250 matches from 2003 to 2018: 12 Tests, 144 ODIs and 95 T20Is, including two ICC World Cup trophies.

Alex joins Pat Cummins, Lisa Sthalekar, Ed Cowan and Liesl Tesch OAM MP as Primary Club Ambassadors.

“I have always admired what the Primary Club stands for and the type of charities that we support”, explains Alex, as she was being interviewed by our Twelfth Man Mark Taylor.

Mark said, “We wish Alex well in her new broadcasting career and look forward to future occasions when he can join us”.
