Over the past 45 years, we have supported a wide range of charities deliver more than 200 projects across the country that encourages and enables people with disabilities to participate in sporting and recreational opportunities.
We continue to grow the types of sporting and recreational opportunities we support through ongoing engagement with the disability sector.
The Primary Club accepts submissions year round from organisations with a charitable status Charities for defined projects that make sporting and recreational activities accessible to people with physical or mental disabilities. Submissions are reviewed by the Primary Club Charity sub-committee, which then makes recommendations to the board for final approval.
We also run the Sir Roden Cutler Award, which recognises our most inspirational athletes with disabilities. The winners of the Award receive a grant for a charity of their choosing that helps people with disabilities access sporting and recreational opportunities.
