Matt de Groot is the breakfast newsreader for Fitzy & Wippa on Sydney's Nova 96.9, as well as host of Nova's weekly morning show 'Matt & Sarah'.

Along with radio, Matt is a regular panellist on ‘The Morning Show’ on Channel 7, Studio 10, appears often on Sky News, the ABC and other programs.  He is a rugby league commentator for Channel 9.  He's been the game-day MC for the Sydney Swans, Wallabies and the Sydney Sixers...

Matt accepted President Jim Maxwell's invitation to become an ambassador for the Primary Club in July 2018, where he frequently attends events and performs as Master of Ceremonies. Matt is also a spokesperson for the charity Thankful as well as Barnardos and has sat on the board of the Batting 4 Change charity.

Sydney FC ‘Empowers Me’ holiday program

Sydney FC Foundation will be running our first Sydney FC “Empowers Me” holiday program, for people with disability. The clinic will be hosted at Sky Park, Sydney FC’s training ground, at Macquarie Park on April 26th.
